we believe that every child deserves a healthy start in life. Our PMTCT program is dedicated to eliminating new HIV infections among children by supporting mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
Without proper care, HIV can be passed from a mother to her child during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding. This risk can be greatly reduced through early testing, timely treatment, and continuous medical support. With the right interventions, the chances of transmission can be cut to less than 2%.
We use a community-focused strategy to protect mothers and babies:
Counseling and Emotional Support for mothers and families.
Education on HIV prevention, treatment, and healthy living.
Community Awareness Campaigns to reduce stigma and promote testing.
